Don't You Hate It When...

You have a sink full of dishes and you put a big bowl on the top of the pile and turn the water on for the big bowl to soak, only you forget that the water is on until it runs out of the bowl, out of the sink, across the counter and you hear it dripping onto the floor?

No, that's never happened to you? Nevermind then.

Good thing I had the big pile of bills on the counter to absorb some of the water before it could hit the floor.

Okay I'll confess. I did do this one time. Luckily the sink was made in such a way that the water just ran into the other sink. Thank God for engineers who figured that might happen.

done on a regular basis I promise. also good is when sink housing the run off from the washing machine get blocked and your first knowledge is a drip drip sound to be followed by a confrontation with a sink full of grey linty water. and you have to reach all the way in a grab unknown blocking item. ewww.
