Quote Of The Day

"No, they are made from real dogs."

said by my 6 year old when he was asked if we were roasting vegetarian hot dogs over the bonfire.

I didn't know whether I should laugh that all this time he has thought I was serving him dog, or be horrified that a child who finds things like mashed potatoes, chicken, and applesauce too offensive to eat, would willingly eat what he believed to be dog.

Aren't you thankful for blogs so you can one day embarrass him totally?

Hey, I had vegetarian hot dogs tonight, too. They may well be from real dogs because my stomach is killing me. Something's wrong in shitsville.

Funny! But if it's true-that hot dogs are basically made of lips and butts-does it really matter? Would being made of real dog be so bad afterall? Just a thought...

Be grateful you cleared that one up before he told other people that mom routinely roasts dogs on the bonfire :-)

LOL! Kids have the most hilarious perceptions and acceptance levels. My four-year-old thinks vegetarians take care of sick animals, and the veterinarians don't eat meat. ;-)
