A New Project
I am involved in a new website called Larger Families. From the website:
largerfamilies.com is the site dedicated to parents raising the modern larger family! We strive to be a source of ideas, resources, entertainment and inspiration by and for moms with more than the "average" number of kids. We'll keep you entertained, informed, and inspired with a daily blog written by over a dozen moms with between four and eleven kids, an advice column, links, resources, articles and interviews.
I am writing the advice column, called Advice from the Trenches, where I answer questions frompoor, unsuspecting souls people. I will also periodically be interviewing other mothers to see their personal takes on raising a large a family in a world designed for two kids, as well as doing the occasional book review.
I'll have a link up in my sidebar as soon as I get around to it. And my new blog home should be up and running soon, unless my blog designer shoots herself or finds me and shoots me for my incredible pickiness and unrelenting idea changes.

Congratulations! This is exciting news! Well done Chris!
Way to go, Chris! I'm totally gonna start writing questions in to you. You'll know the ones are from me because they'll all be inappropriate Savage Love-type questions about sex.
Love it!
wow that is great!
I looked at the site but will dig in when I have the time.
Question though- I see that several of the women have 4 children.
Is 4 children considered a "Lot" of children?
I always think of 5+ as a lot.
Maybe in today's world, 4 is considered a big family.
I guess it depends on the spacing too.
(and the children themselves)
Wonderful! I love reading your blog. More Chris is a good thing.
If you ever want to get a perspective of what it like to try to raise 4 kids, one of whom has been diagnosed with Oppositional Defiant Disorder, as a single parent, drop me a line. Flying solo has given me a whole new perspective on parenting.
Can't wait to see the redesigned site.
Thank you so much for starting this site. I only have four kids but I think I could learn a lot from mothers with larger families. BTW: in CT having more then three kids is considered a big family!
Wow, that sounds really interesting, I will definitely be checking it out on a regular basis.
Oh that is awesome. Congrats! With four I could use that kind of site. Great idea and I can't wait to read it!
