What's a girl to wear with pearls and a tattoo?

Very Glamorous! I assume she's wearing lacy underpants and your best high heels, too.

awesome. classy. my daughter begs for them. it's our dentist that gives them out. i guess it's the reason she doesn't mind the dentist so much, and that can't be a bad thing, right?

I'm with Nettie on the lacy underwear and heels. That picture is too funny.

Like the new banner and subtitle, but miss the pictures!

Well, she IS a princess. Shouldn't her arm be proclaiming that as well???

Too cute.

I have a 3 year old daughter too. I love how well you write about the essence of what a 3yo girl is. Mine has a different name every day (today it's "Marta", yesterday is was "Queen Queen"), and the clothing choices of each day are usually bathing suits or leotards with spagetti straps (yup, that's what she wore all winter). Ask her about pants or long sleeves, and she'll bark back, "I HATE 'em!!" I love love love watching the power of this little one being at the end of the line of 5 kids.

it's cute now, but I would be concerned if she was still dressing like that when she was 18. :) :)

Did any of you see that Dave Barry column about the Disney Princess phenomenon? Your post made me think about it. I'll have to go dig it up.

My little girl and I have a love-hate relationship with these tatoos. She loves them, but since she is black they don't show up well on her skin. I love them because she loves them, I hate them because I can never explain to her satisfaction why she can't see Cinderella.

My 6 yr-old daughter likes it very much. I asked her if she would like one for herself and she jumped up and said "Yeeesss!"

Then she thought a moment and asked, "Do they have one with a rose on it?".

So I guess a rose tatoo is up there too.

Adorable picture. Beads and tatoo..nothing else needed.

And under the beads and tattoo she wears her birthday suit. I thought my older girls would never grow out of their love of being butt naked! They would strip out of their clothing in the morning, have to be redressed upon leaving the house and then strip again when getting home.
Gotta run...the 4 year old just cut her own hair. I was wondering why it was so quiet...

I love the juxtaposition between the elegant pearls and the tattoo! My almost 4-year-old would absolutely love that. We had some Fruit Stripe gum that came with tattoo labels and she couldn't get enough of them.

Wait. Is she wearing blue eyeshadow?

I read that Dave Barry column. It was about the funniest thing I've read all week. I cried I laughed so hard.

Don NOT let my daughter see that or she will stalk you forever and ever or until she gets her own.

Right now she is sporting a Pirates of the Carribean one on her forearm. So hip. So chic. So cool. (From a Lunchable, no less. Double bad mom!)
